My office is in the above-ground lower floor of my family’s home in West Asheville. The office (pictured) has a separate entrance and is not accessed through the main house. It does not have an attached bathroom, and if you require one, you are welcome to use the one in the main house. It is not currently wheelchair-accessible. To protect my family's privacy, I complete a phone screening with prospective clients before disclosing my address.

My physical office is not currently wheelchair-accessible. I offer tele-health services (see below) for folks unable to physically access my services. If you wish to meet in-person with a therapist and are having difficulty finding one with a physically accessible office, I will gladly support you in connecting with one. When we use printed materials in therapy, I will take care to provide them in a way that is readable to you.
I began offering "tele-health" (video call) services in March, 2020, during the COVID-19 outbreak, and I will continue to offer these indefinitely. I also encourage you to consider meeting with me in-person at least some of the time, if you have the capacity to do so safely. Like so many of the things we do within a session, meeting in-person is an “experiment”—we set it up, try it and then study the results. And like all experiments in therapy, it is optional and only proceeds with your consent. While I continue to take precautions to protect myself and others against COVID-19, transmission through me remains possible. The decision to experiment with an in-person session or not is one we can make together, based on your unique situation (health, vaccination status, health insurance, coverage, etc.).
