Fees and Insurance
Sessions
I offer 55-minute individual therapy sessions. We may decide together that longer sessions are suitable for either practical reasons (e.g. time conflicts that prevent regular meetings, traveling distance to my office) or clinical ones (e.g. trauma processing, in-depth initial assessment). In these circumstances I am happy to schedule additional time at an agreed-upon pro-rated cost.
Fee Scale
My cash fee is $110.00 for a 55-minute session. I accept payment via cash, check, and credit/debit card. Payment is expected at the time of service. I offer a sliding scale fee in the following circumstances:
- We have an established therapeutic relationship and you experience unexpected financial need
- You have poor or no insurance coverage, or a high deductible
- You are a qualifying member of Open Path Collective
I invite you to discuss your financial needs with me during a free phone consultation or in our first session. If an adjustment to my fee is necessary, it will be made during the first session and take effect then.
Insurance
I am in-network with:
- Blue Cross and Blue Shield
- Medcost
- Aetna
If you are insured but I am not in-network with your carrier, I can provide you with an itemized “super-bill” of services rendered along with instructions for filing it. (You are expected to pay the agreed-upon fee in full.)
